Gore Refuses to Submit His Testimony Prior to Hearing; Flaunts Committee’s Rules

Coming on the heels of the story that the Gore household consumes 20 times the national monthly average in harmful carbon generated electricity, who could possibly be surprised by this revelation?
Gore asked for special treatment from the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee which has scheduled hearings on Global Warming for today. He requested to be allowed to make a 30 minute opening statement to which the GOP minority assented.
But then Gore demanded a waiver of the EPW committee’s 48 hour rule that requires all witnesses before EPW to submit their testimony in advance. The GOP minority on the EPW committee then agreed to waive the 48 hour rule in favor of allowing Gore to submit his testimony 24 hours before the hearing.
But in a breaking news development on Capitol Hill -- the former Vice President has violated the new 24 hour deadline extension by failing to submit his testimony – even with the new time extension granted to Gore.
As of 8pm ET Tuesday evening, the testimony still has not been received by EPW, a clear violation of committee rules.

Gore is a “do as I say, not as I do” liberal and this request for special treatment comports with his consistent behavior in asking all of us to make sacrifices for the noble cause of combating global warming, while he maintains an opulent lifestyle befitting royalty that does so much to hasten the very atmospheric demise about which he proselytizes with the zeal of an evangelist.
The fact of the matter is that the wheels are starting to come off the Gore Global Warming Magic Bus. Shortly after receiving his Oscar for An Inconvenient Truth, Gore has been the object of ridicule for his hypocritical, extravagant and profligate lifestyle. More and more scientists are coming forward each day questioning the veracity and accuracy of his apocalyptic forebodings of doom.
Gore is terrified of the prospect of the Committee asking him some tough questions based on a review of his prepared testimony. Hence his deliberate refusal to comply with established rules to present the written testimony in advance.
