What Happened to the Democrats’ Slow Bleed Strategy?

As I noted in an earlier comment, if public opinion polls ever indicated that Americans were not entirely on board with the Democrats’ original policy of hastening our defeat in Iraq by precipitous withdrawal achieved through the subterfuge of conditioning reinforcements on bogus “certifications”, they would be forced to abandon it in favor of a more subtle political solution to appease their clamoring anti-war base.
It appears that moment has arrived.
The Democrats’ strategy on Iraq is so convoluted that they can’t even explain it.
Don’t expect the party’s left wing to go gently into the night. They are already starting to make a lot of noise.
