Hillary Clinton’s War Funding Vote: She Was For It Before She Was Against It

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, kowtowing to the radical anti-war left wing of their party, voted last night against funding for the Iraq War. Since the measure passed by an overwhelming majority, their conduct could hardly be construed as a Profile in Courage.
As I have noted previously, here and here, a day of reckoning was going to arrive for Hillary’s duplicitous posturing on her vote in support of the war.
By her no vote on funding, she has now hung the flip-flopper albatross around her neck and it will be extremely difficult for her to manage this unflattering characterization during any general election (See, e.g., John Kerry’s 2004 campaign).
