Hillary Clinton Campaign Enters Meltdown Mode: Attacks Obama’s Kindergarten Essay

One by one, the wheels are slowly starting to come off the Clinton Campaign Bus…
First there was the calculating evasiveness and all too transparent equivocation on drivers licenses for illegal immigrants at the debate in Philadelphia. Then, as if her waffling and parsing at the debate wasn’t enough, we had to watch as her answer to the license question went through numerous iterations until a nearly mortally wounded New York Governor Eliot Spitzer made her answer easy by withdrawing his harebrained scheme.
Next came her idiotic comments about “piling on” followed by her appearance at Wellesley College where she intimated she was getting bruised for trying to crack the Mens’ Only Club. This farce was ensued by her increasingly wayward and unhelpful husband Bill’s comments equating rivals trying to get a straight answer out of her during the debate to malicious “swift-boating.” The next embarrassing spousal episode occurred when Slick Willie tried to tell us that he was against the Iraq War “from the very beginning.” This new anti-war Bill persona was devoid of historical fact and brought instant scorn and ridicule to Hillary’s increasingly faltering campaign.
The icing on the cake though came yesterday when Hillary’s campaign savaged Obama as being inconsistent when they discovered that his Kindergarten teacher said that he wrote an essay entitled “ I want to be President”.
Clearly, the Clinton campaign is firing at anything that moves in desperation as her standing in the polls plummets and as old reliable allies and apologists now start to express concern as to the viability of her nomination.
As I have stated previously, the entire aura of Hillary Clinton’s inevitability was fraudulent from the very start. An invention of her adoring and fawning sycophants in the mainstream media, the patina of inevitability, her coronation as it were, was presented by fellow ideological travelers in the press as a foregone conclusion. The incident of her press conference after the recent hostage crisis at her campaign office presented yet another opportunity for a servile press corps to somehow present her ludicrously, as almost Churchillian.
Watch for more snafus out of the mouths of America’s dynamic political duo. What was the mantra?
Two for the price of one.
Indeed…
