House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated yesterday that the Superdelegates should not function at the convention to usurp the will of primary voters. This is bad news for Hillary who had been counting on those votes to help boost her standing against Obama.
Pelosi also seemed to quash another Clinton strategy of seating the Florida and Michigan delegates, "I don't think that any states that operated outside the rules of the party can be dispositive of who the nominee is," she said. "That is to say, they can't make the difference, because then we would have no rules."
