Bono Seeks Absolution From Eco-Archbishop Al Gore For Carbon Footprint Sins
 
“Forgive me Father, for I have sinned…”
As a good Catholic willing to perform penance for his environmental sins, Bono headed off to… where else?… Davos, of course, the new capital and playground for the world governance crowd.
How fitting that a repentant Bono would seek out Gore in Davos, which has achieved the ecumenical status of Rome as the center for the catechism of global warming. On this issue, Gore has arrogated to himself the unopposed role of Holy See, dispensing paid absolution in the wholly specious form of carbon offsets and credits.
A question arises however, who will hear Gore’s confession?
